Description
The grandson of the legendary gentleman thief Arsène Lupin, the master criminal Arsène Lupin III travels the globe with his expert companions, seeking the next priceless treasure to add to his haul. This internationally wanted thief is known for his nearly supernatural talents in disguise, marksmanship, and strategy, and he often announces his heists in advance just for the thrill of the challenge. He is constantly pursued by the determined Inspector Koichi Zenigata of Interpol, whose life mission is to finally lock up the elusive Lupin.

At his side is the sharpshooter Daisuke Jigen, a quick-draw artist who can shoot a target with pinpoint accuracy in 0.3 seconds. Despite his gruff demeanor and signature wide-brimmed hat that obscures his eyes, Jigen is Lupin’s most loyal partner and closest friend. Accompanying them is the stoic samurai Goemon Ishikawa XIII, the thirteenth generation of his line, who wields the legendary Zantetsuken, a sword capable of cutting through virtually any physical material. Completing the chaotic dynamic is Fujiko Mine, a beautiful and mysterious femme fatale. She is a rival, an ally, and Lupin’s greatest weakness, frequently using her wits and feminine charm to manipulate the gang to secure the loot for herself.

One of the few known live-action television adaptations of the property is a Filipino drama series that aired on GMA Network. Broadcast from April to August 2007, the show was simply titled Lupin. This series brought the classic dynamic of the international thief to a Filipino audience, adapting the iconic rivalry between Lupin and the authorities to a live-action format.

The search results confirm the existence of this live-action television series, which serves as a distinct entry in the franchise alongside the more widely distributed theatrical live-action films from 1974 and 2014. However, specific narrative arcs, episode-by-episode storylines, and detailed plot overviews for this 2007 Filipino adaptation are not available in the provided search results.
