Description
"K" is a supernatural action anime set in a world where powerful individuals known as Kings wield extraordinary abilities granted by their connection to supernatural entities called the Slates. These Kings lead factions called Clans, each with unique powers and hierarchies. The story begins with Yashiro Isana, a carefree high school student, who becomes the prime suspect in the murder of a Clan member from HOMRA, a group led by the Red King, Mikoto Suoh. Yashiro, also known as Shiro, is pursued by HOMRA and SCEPTER 4, a law enforcement group led by the Blue King, Reisi Munakata, who seeks to maintain order among the Clans.
As the narrative unfolds, Shiro’s true identity is revealed to be intertwined with the mysterious Seventh King, a figure whose existence has been shrouded in secrecy. The Seventh King’s powers are tied to the Dresden Slates, the source of all Kings’ abilities, and their activation threatens to destabilize the balance of power.
