"Tales of the Abyss" is a 26-episode anime adaptation of the 2005 role-playing game of the same name. The story is set in a world where the planet's energy, known as Fonons, is harnessed through a system called Fon Slot, which governs the use of magic and technology. The Score is revered by the Order of Lorelei, a religious organization that wields significant influence over the world's nations. Van's actions spark a war between the Kimlasca Kingdom and the Malkuth Empire, with Luke and his companions caught in the middle.
