Beta? Any news from Martin about it? Honestly, I'd prefer it if Martin himself were to post in this topic rather than someone who "spoke" to Martin.

Well, I hate to say, I'm not Martin.

I do talk to Martin, and I know he's making good progress.
However, he hasn't set a deadline, and he never did before. All I can say is I HOPE it's done by the end of summer.
He mentioned that the 3D graphic designing is slowing him down.

I remember a screen shot awhile back being posted up in the village forums, had some 3d ninja and I was wondering if it was actual art being used for the game or if it was just a fabrication.
which is sort of the idea the MP had.

I still haven't been able to get a conversation with Martin, though I haven't really been trying lately... I think I'll eventually get one...

Kurenai.com is the website where the new game is going to be...hence I said its not beta its Kurenai...

PS: The word "Beta" seems to get more people's attention.

When people hear beta in our community they think there going to be a newer updated version of NFG...thats not the case nadroj, There isnt a beta or I should say there isnt going to be a newer/updated version of nfg...

which sucks because the more i hear about kurenai the more it sounds like a flash game and i'm not into playing flash games all day

Martin wont sell...And even if he did you'll be somone to recode the hole game, the game right now has no rules/structures, and is all whacked out.

And the more people say they don't like the game the more I think they havnt heard anything about this game and just believe that its all flash and no fun right?

Well, from the looks of it, the incorporation of 3D is a turn off. Unless it will be a browser game with certain 3D aspects I'm going to need a lot amazing game to stick with it. The reason I've stayed with NFG for so long is 'cause it's a browser game

Well how about we set up an short Interview with Martin.
Have everyone in the community post 1 question that they would like to know and vote on the top 10 or 5 question to send to martin.
via email or what ever so not to pressure him, cause i know he is a busy man. See what we can learn.

Oh, and shadow, I think the reason people are thinking poorly of Kurenai is because of what you said before. "I think they havnt heard anything about this game", exactly! How can we know if it's good if all we've seen is one screen shot, which most of us have probably forgotten about, and... well that's pretty much it. It's Flash, 3D, and related to Naruto... What else? Should we just assume it's going to be amazing and get our hopes up when the things we expected aren't there? Or are we going to think it's not going to do so well so when we start playing it seems better?

Or maybe you can go with a neutral approach. Tell us. Have Martin send out an announcement with some of the features that he's currently working on or plans on having.

The main thing I'm concerned with is how power is distributed (don't like corruptness). All I know about that is "Martin will be the only Admin". Nothing about Moderators although it's generally assumed that Martin is going to need some people. From what I remember, only a few people are working on this game... How big is it suppose to be? What about some options and suggestions from people who have played NFG. Maybe we'd like something new in Kurenai.

Sadao, that's a great idea. I think I'd be great if you created a topic for people to post their questions. Keep a list in the first post with all the questions asked and see how many we can get answered!
