I say three per village is too much, but just one is not enough. Perhaps the middle choice of two. I believe two people to represent each village would be a good amount since that would allow for good meetings and debates since it would not be too clustered but not empty either.

Edit: I suppose I will be the Sand Ambassador as well.

This way if one of the Ambassador is missing the other one can replace him.

i think it is better to do it like firefox said. just 1 ambassador per village and one who is second in charge. so if the ambassador cant participate in the meeting the second can if the ambassador is there the second wont be there.
the less people you have, the easier it is to make decisions.

These votes and discussions will be open for public viewing?

If the public disagrees with something the ambassadors declare rule, will you guys be up for input from public in your own village to see if public in majority wants something different? ie mending a law or changing it.

Since this is sort of like the legislative branch in US government, will their be an ANBU only branch that will meet together to enforce the laws of the land so to speak.

And who what mechanisms will be used to judge the innocents of these individuals?


Finally, I trust most of the person, from knowing them for so long, signing up for this task, but how much power will these ambassadors have and would that power be be regulated by a system of check?

yea i make things complicated, but eh i wana make sure this doesn't lead to power abuse or people abusing a system to meet their goals.

The ambassador only power is when their in a meeting so to say...Basically the meeting will be open by the public to see how its going while the ambassadors debate on rules and how it should be written up...besides that how I see it they will only write laws that everyone can agree on...We might make the first meeting on how laws will be set up, like one is purposed and than it can be majority rule or everyone must agree...

We could always set it up like the supreme justice...usualyl its majority ruling, so if it comes to a 5v3..(figuring we will have 8 villages..maybe put nadroj in there since everyone seems to want him to be admin so we can have him be a 9th vote if everyone cool with that) and like if its a vote of 5v4 (9 people) than it passes but later if somone were to say that rule should be changed or remove because it was a 5v4 it can be put up for debate again..if everyone agree's like 9v0 so everyone agree's yes or no..than it wont be changed unless somthing big happens?

Did everyone get that...know it's poorly sayng I can always come back and rewrite it if noone gets it...



But anyways I think when it comes to deciding if somone innocent or guilty, this group could also meet again and rule togethor if one is guilty or innoncent, and here we would need to decide if we do it like supreme court major rule...or like a jury where everyone must agree...

And if obisdion (Just pulling a name out) is a ambassador but he is like the one prisoning the person than his backup would be put in place to decide how to vote..

I'll make a new thread called Village Ambassador List...At that time Each village places their main and Sub in the Post...

Than Sunday (which I'll be at work during the night) if everyone has posted the list I'll go ahead and put down a few times where ambassadors can decide which is the best time for them.

And I'll also go ahead and put down what we will be discussing for the meeting...

So, Everyone go ahead and PM in NFG for topics you want to be discussed...automatically we will be talking about rules that be the main one but we can have sub topics we can talk about...

Another thing, Idk if anyone wants to do this but if you want quicker meetings we could do MSN/AIM/Yahoo Chat parties to quicken the pace, but that would be hard just because everyone would have to get on at the same time...Just a thought...

Maybe it should be held on msn if not msn create a forum and just start a topic there and give the link to everyone so they can watch but if they post just delete their comment.

i would say to do that here but you cant delete someones comment on here without being staff which not that i know of anyone one of us being staff on this SUBFORUM lol

With the MSN/AIM/Yahoo idea, is not that the point of having a scheduled meeting? To be able to discuss things with others when everyone is on. Perhaps an irc chat channel for the meetings would be best for everyone to use.

I just throwing Idea's out on how to get a meeting setup...we could also do the make a new forum to do discussions and post like results of the meeting here...

I think it would also be in the best of everyone if its open to the public, but we need some way to make sure not everyone is just posting their thoughts..

You do know, in invisionfree forums you can make it so that only you guys can post, and we can only read and not post. However, I like the idea of an IRC chat...

I actually agree. Personally I like Neo but you can't just disappear and basically give up on us then come back and just bitch about what you should have been doing in the time when you were gone.

Then a rules system is going to be finally set in stone soon and there is no posted reason for the person's imprisonment.
