Description
Baron Fang is a significant antagonist introduced in the second story arc of Kamen Rider V3. He arrives in Japan to assume command of the evil organization Destron, succeeding the previous commander, Doktor G. His background is that of a powerful witch doctor and shaman from Africa, specifically the upper reaches of the Congo River, where he serves as the chieftain of a group known as the Fang Clan. This clan is composed of monsters that are mutated forms of wild animals known for their fangs or tusks, such as the Skull-Warthog and Snow-Wolf.

In terms of personality, Baron Fang is depicted as cruel and ritualistic, with a particular need to witness bloodshed daily. He is a practitioner of dark magic and often performs grotesque ceremonies and blood sacrifices to empower his monsters before they engage in battle. His motivations are tied to serving Destron's goals, but also to a personal pride in his Fang Clan. After many of his monsters are defeated by Kamen Rider V3, he is compelled by the Great Leader of Destron to take more direct action, leading him to seek revenge against the Rider.

Baron Fang serves as the second of Destron's four great commanders, appearing in episodes 31 through 35. His role in the story is to be a formidable magical adversary for the hero, Shiro Kazami, who transforms into Kamen Rider V3. He is shown to be a threat not only to the Rider but also to innocent people, using curses like a lycanthropic spell to transform a young woman into a werewolf to force compliance from her father, a scientist Destron wishes to exploit. A key relationship is his command over the Fang Clan monsters; he acts as their leader and the source of their empowerment.

The character's development culminates in a final, desperate transformation. After the entire Fang Clan is wiped out, Baron Fang uses his dark magic to call upon the spirits of Doovoo, transforming himself into his true, powerful monster form known as the Vampiric Mammoth. This form grants him immense physical strength and a variety of new abilities. In his final battle, Baron Fang is ultimately destroyed by Kamen Rider V3's signature finishing technique, the V3 Revolving Triple Kick.

Notable abilities possessed by Baron Fang are primarily magical in nature. In his standard humanoid form, he wields a fang-shaped spear that can fire explosive charges. Upon transforming into the Vampiric Mammoth, his power increases dramatically. In this form, he can use his left hand, which resembles a mammoth's foot, to deliver powerful punches capable of creating earthquakes. He can extend his trunk to suck the blood from his enemies, and from his mouth, he can spew flame bullets and a disorienting red mist. His massive ivory tusks can also be launched as small missiles.
