Galient Tazaki acts as tactical advisor for the Heavy Cavalry Duel Club at Goha 6th Elementary School, first appearing in Episode 26, "Maximum Duel!". His physical appearance features a chubby build, brown skin, and distinctive silver hair swept back with one bang hanging towards his nose, complemented by long sideburns resembling a beard. He wears an equestrian-inspired outfit: white gloves, a black turtleneck shirt, a blue vest, and a short blue coat with a black inner layer. His lower attire consists of brown belted, white baggy pants tucked into black boots.

Galient employs a Machine-type deck in duels. During Episode 29, "Galient Digging," he obstructs the path of Ranze and Rinnosuke Nanahoshi, student council members from Goha 7th Elementary, as they attempt to reach a training camp attended by Yuga Ohdo and his friends. When later questioned by Gakuto Sogetsu about the twins' whereabouts, Galient denies any knowledge.
