Description
Hitoe Takeuchi is a minor character who appears in the film Battle Royale II: Requiem. She is portrayed by actress Nanami Ohta. Hitoe is the young daughter of Riki Takeuchi, a teacher and the administrator of the Battle Royale II program. Her age is approximately ten years old.

Her role in the story is defined entirely by her death, which occurs before the main events of the film. Hitoe loses her life during a terrorist attack carried out by the Wild Seven, a group led by Shuya Nanahara, the protagonist from the first film. Specifically, she is killed when an explosion causes a building to collapse on her. The only time she is shown on screen is in a brief but significant moment when her father discovers her body amidst the rubble, and he is later seen holding a photograph of her.

Despite having no dialogue or direct involvement in the plot, Hitoe Takeuchi serves as a crucial piece of backstory for her father, Riki Takeuchi. Her death is the primary motivation for his ruthless pursuit of the Wild Seven throughout the film. He is portrayed as a tyrant driven by grief and a desire for vengeance, his personal motives having been dismissed by the government officials he serves. This loss transforms his character, and by the end of the film, his experiences lead him to a realization about the futility of the adults' violent actions, culminating in his own self-sacrifice.

Consequently, Hitoe does not possess any notable abilities or undergo any character development herself, as she is only ever presented as a victim whose fate shapes the narrative arc of another character. Her only key relationship is with her father, Riki Takeuchi.
