Description
Mitsue Inaba is a minor character from the 1972 tokusatsu series Android Kikaider. She is a schoolteacher and a mother, living a quiet life until her encounter with the evil organization DARK. Her defining trait is her selflessness and courage: when the monster Blues Kong attacks her classroom, she stands in front of her students to protect them, sacrificing her own life in the process. Her death serves as a turning point in the narrative, as it motivates her husband and son to seek justice and to warn the world about the threat DARK poses. Mitsue Inaba does not possess any special abilities or combat skills; her power lies in her ordinary humanity and maternal instinct, which highlights the stakes of the conflict between DARK and the innocent civilians caught in its path. Her brief role underscores the destructive impact of DARK's monsters on everyday life and provides emotional weight for the heroes' mission. While she appears only in a single episode, her sacrifice drives the actions of her surviving family members and reinforces the series’ theme of protecting the vulnerable.
