Description
Itsuro Takuma, who transforms into the Centipede Orphnoch, begins his journey in Kamen Rider 555 as a member of the elite Orphnoch group known as Lucky Clover, which operates under the massive corporation Smart Brain. In his mid-twenties, Takuma initially presents himself as a cool, sophisticated, and perfectionistic individual. He carries a book of poetry, often quoting the works of William Butler Yeats, which contributes to his intellectual and refined atmosphere. He works at the Clover, a pub managed by his fellow Lucky Clover member, Saeko Kageyama, where his signature dish on the menu is called Monkey's Lunch.

As a member of Lucky Clover, Takuma is a formidable operative whose combat skills are highly regarded, even acknowledged by Smart Brain’s CEO. In his Centipede Orphnoch form, he is a powerful fighter, capable of overwhelming multiple opponents such as Yuji Kiba, Yuka Osada, and Naoya Kaido simultaneously. However, his dominant trait is his deep-seated cowardice, which becomes more apparent as the series progresses. He is desperate to impress Saeko and maintain his standing within the group, but he lives in constant fear of Kitazaki, the Dragon Orphnoch, whose power far exceeds his own. Takuma tries to act tough when Kitazaki is absent or weakened, but is otherwise terrified of him and tries to avoid his attention.

Takuma's role in the story shifts dramatically following a critical failure. After being severely defeated and traumatized by Takumi Inui as Kamen Rider Faiz Axel Form, his confidence shatters. He becomes more cowardly and incompetent, losing the respect of his peers and becoming a whipping boy for Kitazaki, who tortures him for amusement. In a desperate attempt to regain his status, Takuma participates in operations to steal the Rider Belts. During one such attempt, he is forced to use an unfinished and failed prototype of the Rio Trooper Belt, which electrocutes him and solidifies his psychological trauma. His personality degrades to the point of becoming a comedic and pitiful figure, often crying and cowering before Saeko for comfort.

His key relationship is with Saeko Kageyama, the Scorpion Orphnoch. He is devoted to her and seeks her approval, often showing off in front of her. After his initial defeats, he becomes emotionally dependent on her, seeking solace in her presence. His other significant dynamic is with Kitazaki, his superior in Lucky Clover, towards whom he feels intense fear and resentment. Takuma is briefly able to use the Faiz Gear after stealing it, becoming a temporary Kamen Rider Faiz, but he is ultimately defeated and loses the belt.

Takuma's development sees him go from a proud elite to a terrified coward and finally to a desperate survivor. As the series concludes, the Orphnoch King awakens. Witnessing the King murder Kitazaki with ease and transform Saeko into a complete, inhuman Orphnoch, Takuma is overcome with fear for his own humanity. He abandons the Orphnoch cause and his life at Smart Brain, choosing to live out the rest of his days as a human. In the final episode, he is shown working at a construction site, having given up his former ambitions for a simple, ordinary life.

In terms of abilities, as the Centipede Orphnoch, he stands 210 centimeters tall and weighs 131 kilograms. His body is covered in centipede-like legs that secrete a poison capable of causing intense pain. His primary weapon is a whip that can extend up to twenty meters and is covered in spikes, which he can control with great precision. He is capable of high-speed movement, running at speeds of up to 200 kilometers per hour. He can also fire blue rays of energy as a projectile attack and possesses a multi-eye function that grants him a 180-degree field of vision. His speed and whipping abilities allow him to effectively disarm opponents, such as when he stole the Faiz Driver directly from Takumi Inui.
