Description
Coral Orphnoch is a character who appears late in the story of Kamen Rider 555. As an Orphnoch, a being that evolved from a human who died and was resurrected, Coral Orphnoch possesses traits and abilities inspired by coral. In his human form, he appears as a man dressed in a leather jacket who rides a motorcycle.

Coral Orphnoch demonstrates a strong sense of self-preservation and a pragmatic view of his own survival. While he is an agent of the Smart Brain corporation and seems to agree with the goal of supplanting humanity, his primary loyalty is to his own life. He has no hesitation in attacking humans, as seen when he kills a man in a red jacket, and he carries himself with a certain pride in his identity as an Orphnoch. However, his defining trait is his refusal to be a sacrificial pawn. When he learns that his own kind are meant to be sacrificed to awaken the Orphnoch King, he is horrified and rebellious, stating that this would make them mere offerings. This leads him to directly oppose the leadership of Smart Brain to save himself.

Coral Orphnoch enters the story when he encounters a young boy named Teruo Suzuki, who is fated to become the Orphnoch King. He feels an immense and terrifying presence from the child and, sensing the danger, immediately flees on his motorcycle. He then reports this encounter to Kyoji Murakami, a high-ranking official at Smart Brain. Murakami confirms his suspicion that the boy is the future King, who must devour other Orphnochs to fully awaken. When Murakami essentially orders him to accept his role as potential prey, Coral Orphnoch rejects this entirely, deciding instead to kill Teruo himself to prevent the King's resurrection. His plan to attack the boy is interrupted by Takumi Inui, the user of the Faiz Gear, and Shuji Mihara, the user of the Delta Gear. The Riders, unaware of his true motive to prevent the King's birth, engage him in battle.

In his Orphnoch form, Coral Orphnoch is a formidable fighter standing 214 centimeters tall. His entire body is adorned with rod-like, decorative protrusions that possess the remarkable ability to diffuse the impact of enemy attacks. These ornaments are specifically noted to be strong enough to defend against the Faiz Edge, a powerful sword used by Kamen Rider Faiz. For offensive purposes, his mouth extends into three protrusions that can fire a gel-like solution; this substance hardens upon contact with an opponent, effectively immobilizing them. He also wields a spear with blades on both ends as his primary melee weapon. His combat skills are significant, as he is able to hold his own against two Riders, Faiz and Delta, simultaneously and fight them on equal or even superior terms.

The character's development is brief but complete, centered on his rebellion against his prescribed fate as a sacrifice. His motivation is clear and personal: survival. Unlike many Orphnochs who serve the King's resurrection with loyalty or fear, Coral Orphnoch chooses defiance, declaring Teruo to be not his king, but his enemy. His role in the story is ultimately that of a tragic antagonist, a being who resists a terrible destiny but is destroyed by those who misunderstand his actions. His end comes when he is caught between the simultaneous attacks of two Riders, receiving Delta's Lucifer Hammer kick from behind and then Faiz's Grand Impact punch from the front, which destroys him.
