Description
Ohnogi, whose name is also romanized as Oonogi or Onogi, is the human identity of the Scorpion Orphnoch, a scorpion-themed monster in the series Kamen Rider 555. He is a young Orphnoch driven by ambition to rise within the Orphnoch hierarchy centered on the Smart Brain corporation. When a vacancy appeared in Lucky Clover, the elite group of especially powerful Orphnochs, following the death of the member known as J, Ohnogi moved to secure the open seat for himself. To prove his worth, he killed a renegade Orphnoch, an athletic sports-oriented man whom Saeko Kageyama regarded as a traitor, and then asked Saeko to recommend him as J's replacement. His actions reflect a confident and self-assured personality; he believed his own strength qualified him for the elite circle and was willing to eliminate others to demonstrate it.

After being accepted as a candidate, Ohnogi served as a loyal subordinate to Saeko Kageyama. When Saeko set out to deal with Shigehisa Aoki, an Orphnoch she considered a traitor, Ohnogi accompanied her, but the mission was interrupted by Yuji Kiba and Takumi Inui. Ohnogi pursued the two decoys and pressed Kiba hard, coming close to killing him before Takumi struck him from behind with a stick. He later joined the Lobster Orphnoch and the Dolphin Orphnoch in hunting down the hidden Takumi and Kiba. Alongside the Lobster Orphnoch, he found Kiba and knocked him unconscious after Kiba transformed into the Horse Orphnoch. He then moved to assist the Dolphin Orphnoch, and despite interference from Kamen Rider Kaixa, the three Orphnochs together overwhelmed Kamen Rider Faiz. However, Faiz changed to his Axel Form and, after activating Axel Mode, struck with the Grand Impact, destroying Ohnogi and causing him to crumble to ash. His appearances in the series are brief, spanning a two-episode arc, and he ultimately serves as a short-lived contender who is eliminated before he can claim the position he sought.

In his Orphnoch form, Ohnogi had a scorpion-like appearance with a knight or gladiator-like silhouette, a vertically splitting mouth, and scorpion imagery on his chest. The design was reportedly a modified version of an earlier Orphnoch suit, and its fighting spirit was said to evoke a hammer soldier. His body offered strong resistance to high temperatures, enduring heat of up to 1500 degrees Celsius, and his armored skin could withstand conventional weapons. On his head he carried three stingers known as Scorpion Needles, which could pierce an opponent and inject a paralytic neurotoxin to immobilize them. His signature weapon was a flail, a spiked iron ball attached to a handle by a chain. The weapon was difficult to control and could potentially injure its wielder, but Ohnogi handled it with considerable skill, using it to batter and crush his enemies. In terms of raw physical ability, he was recorded as having a punching power of two tons, a kicking power of two and a half tons, and the ability to leap twenty meters, making him a capable fighter even without his equipment.
