TV-Series
Description
Ilkubo is a character from the original Futari wa Pretty Cure television series, serving as a primary antagonist. As the most powerful of the five generals under the Dark King, he holds the position of his master's right-hand man and carries a purple Prism Stone. In his first appearance, he is a tall, imposing figure with pale grey skin, pointed ears, and a shaven head, dressed in a black outfit beneath a long white robe. Later, he is revived in a far more monstrous and powerful form, appearing as a large, indigo and black creature before finally transforming into a tall, muscular silver being.

Personality-wise, Ilkubo is demanding, authoritative, and takes charge of the other generals. He is deeply loyal to the Dark King, always striving to please his master by following all instructions diligently. Unlike some other generals who rely on creating monsters called Zakenna, Ilkubo prefers to fight the Pretty Cure directly using his own formidable abilities. He is capable of blocking powerful attacks like the Marble Screw with nothing but his own strength, and can also absorb energy directly from the Garden of Rainbows. However, his endurance is not absolute; a direct hit from the Pretty Cure's attacks can still cause him pain.

In the story, Ilkubo first appears briefly in an early episode to scold Pisard, Gekidrago, and Kiriya. He later makes his true combat debut in the Garden of Rainbows, where he battles Nagisa and Honoka. After his initial defeat, the Dark King revives him, granting him a much stronger, monstrous form. In this state, he proves to be a nearly overwhelming threat, even managing to capture the heroines and take them to the Dotsuku Zone. However, his violent rampage becomes so reckless that he nearly destroys the Prism Stones, his master's most precious artifacts. As a result, the Dark King himself destroys Ilkubo, absorbing his power to prevent further damage.
