Mule Wolflame is a young noble from Midland who becomes a member of the reborn Band of the Falcon. Before joining Griffith’s new army, he was one of the remnants of Midland’s own forces, drawn into the Band by the powerful aura that Griffith exudes. Proud and deeply committed to personal honor, Mule takes his duties seriously. His primary role within the group is the protection of Sonia, a young medium who serves Griffith; Sonia herself refers to Mule with the playful nickname Duck Prince. Despite his relatively small stature and youthful appearance, Mule proves to be a capable close-combat fighter, skillful enough that even Isidro acknowledges his strength during a confrontation in Vritannis. He is no stranger to the harsh realities of warfare, having survived on battlefields before joining the Band. Over the course of the story, Mule’s sense of duty and his growing loyalty to Griffith and the group are tested as the violence around him escalates. His motivations are rooted in his upbringing as a noble, which instilled in him a strong belief in honor and protection of those under his charge. While he is not one of the most powerful warriors in the series, his dedication, combat competence, and unwavering sense of responsibility define his presence in the narrative.
