Description
Banagher Links is the central protagonist of Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn RE:0096. He is a sixteen-year-old student residing on the space colony Industrial 7, where he attends the Anaheim Electronics Technical College and works a part-time job clearing space debris using a petite mobile suit. Unbeknownst to him for most of his life, he is the illegitimate son of Cardeas Vist, the head of the powerful Vist Foundation, and a woman named Anna Links.
Banagher is characterized as a well-meaning and kind-hearted young man who often feels a sense of disconnection from his everyday life, searching for a deeper purpose. With his dying breath, Cardeas entrusts the Unicorn Gundam to Banagher, making him the key to finding Laplace's Box. From this point, he becomes an unwilling but pivotal figure in a conflict that could determine the fate of the Earth Sphere, piloting the Unicorn to protect Mineva and to prevent the secret of Laplace's Box from sparking another devastating war.
