Description
Matabee Gotō is a supporting character in the Hyakka Ryōran universe, appearing in the OVA Samurai After as a student of the Buou Academic School and a member of the Toyotomi faction. She carries the name and legacy of the historical samurai Gotō Matabee, a renowned spear fighter. Her primary role is that of the loyal bodyguard and most devoted subordinate of Yukimura Sanada, whom she has served since before Yukimura’s physical strength improved. Matabee is deeply dedicated to Yukimura, often looking after her and supporting her efforts to restore the Toyotomi clan’s prominence.
Personality-wise, Matabee is generally taciturn and not particularly assertive.
