Description
Momo Kurumizawa is a student at the strategic defense academy Ataraxia, where she belongs to Class B in the second year of the high school division and serves as a member of the Technical Research Department. Her primary role within the academy is that of a weapons developer, and she takes great pride in the practical applications of her work, which becomes directly relevant during the events of volume five of the story. She is a hardworking and high-spirited young woman who enjoys giving cute nicknames to the weapons she creates, and she becomes visibly upset when others misname them. Momo initially believed the rumors circulating about Kizuna Hida, the series protagonist, painting him as a lustful pervert, and she was somewhat afraid of him, assuming she was not one of the high-status beautiful girls he might target. However, when she meets Kizuna after he barely escapes from the Batlantis Empire, her attitude shifts. She openly expresses anger when he gives her weapon designs a harsh and unsparing evaluation, but as she comes to understand the sincerity of his determination, she realizes that the rumors were wrong and that he is actually a kind person capable of feeling pain and guilt. This encounter allows her to open up and begin trusting him. Physically, Momo has brown hair that appears black in the anime, typically tied in a small ponytail and secured with hairpins, and brown eyes that are depicted as green in the anime. She has a slender, voluptuous build with traces of sunburn from working outdoors, and she often wears the maintenance uniform, sometimes removing the upper layer when it grows too hot to reveal a black bikini. Her expertise in weaponry and engineering makes her a valuable support member of the academy, highlighting the importance of technical and research staff in the larger conflict. Her motivations are driven by a genuine love for her craft and a desire to contribute meaningfully to the academy’s defense efforts. Throughout her interactions, she grows more confident and willing to express her feelings, especially toward Kizuna, though she retains a modest and initially reserved demeanor.
