Description
Small Kyubey, also known as Lil' Kyubey or Chiisana Kyubei, is a unique creature resembling yet distinct from standard Incubators. Found exclusively in Kamihama City, it features a smaller stature, white fur, four ears (one pair cat-like, the other rabbit-like with pink interiors), red eyes, and a distinctive hot pink egg-shaped oval on its back. Unlike its counterparts, Small Kyubey cannot speak, communicating instead through song and ending vocalizations with "~Mokyu."

Its origin stems from a regular Kyubey transformed by three unspecified wishes, severing its connection to the Incubator hive mind. This isolation prevents standard Incubators from entering Kamihama without losing consciousness. Small Kyubey frequently appears near Rumors and Uwasa (manifested urban legends), aiding magical girls—especially Iroha Tamaki and her allies—in defeating these entities, often vanishing afterward.

A critical narrative revelation identifies Small Kyubey as the physical manifestation of Ui Tamaki, Iroha's younger sister erased from existence. This explains its strong affinity for Iroha; physical contact restores Iroha's lost memories of Ui. Nemu Hiiragi, aware of this identity, protected it. Within the mobile game "Magia Record," it acts as the player's proxy and a playable character with unique combat abilities: diagonal blast attacks, "Variable" attribute-changing effects, and skills like "Mokyu, Mokyu!" (granting attack boosts and HP restoration) and "Brave Enough To Fight Alone" (inflicting defense down on enemies).

Small Kyubey actively guides magical girls through witch labyrinths, contrasting the passive observation of standard Incubators. It demonstrates loyalty, particularly to Mikazuki Villa's residents, symbolized by its use of a small teacup chosen by the group. Its deep bond with Iroha enables intuitive understanding despite non-verbal communication.

Key abilities include singing to disorient or weaken witches and disappearing at will. Game mechanics grant it stats like Accele/Blast/Charge boosts and status ailment resistance via its "Serenity Adept" skill. Its long-term goals beyond assisting against immediate threats remain a mystery.
