Description
Pochi, whose full name is Pokenchissu Deal Purafusorafu, is a male magical creature in the anime Mahou Shoujo Nante Mouiidesukara. He has the form of a small flying penguin and acts as the partner of the magical girl Mafuyu Shinoki, a high school student older than the protagonist Yuzuka and a more experienced magical girl. Pochi is the one who turned Mafuyu into a magical girl, and he is almost always shown at her side afterward.
In terms of background, Pochi comes from the same world as Miton, the creature who later turns Yuzuka into a magical girl, and the two are former comrades from the era when magical girls and their partners fought against invaders. While Miton ended up separated from his partner and living in difficult circumstances, Pochi remained with Mafuyu and settled into an ordinary life alongside her.
