Description
Misuzu Moriwaki is a minor character who appears in the first episode of City Hunter 3. She is a young Japanese woman employed on a temporary basis at the Rubiria embassy. Her primary motivation is an environmental one: she is deeply committed to the reforestation of the country where she grew up, indicating a personal connection to that nation and a strong sense of purpose tied to ecological restoration. This goal drives her actions and shapes her role in the story.

In the episode, Misuzu experiences a series of inexplicable accidents that occur in rapid succession. Unsettled by these events and wishing to avoid police involvement, she seeks help from Ryo Saeba and Kaori Makimura, the operators of the City Hunter service. She asks them to provide personal protection, valuing discretion over public investigation. This decision reveals a cautious and pragmatic personality; she is willing to turn to unconventional sources for aid rather than risk exposing the matter to official channels.

Her relationship with Ryo and Kaori is that of a client. She entrusts them with her safety and relies on their skills to uncover the truth behind the accidents. While her screen time is limited to a single episode, her character serves as a catalyst for the episode’s plot, introducing a case that requires the City Hunter team to balance protection with investigation. She does not undergo significant development over the course of the series, as her appearance is confined to this one encounter. No exceptional abilities are attributed to her; her notable traits are her environmental dedication and her preference for handling matters quietly.
