Description
Prince Toma, the young ruler of Togenkyo, a floating island in the film, presides over a land cursed by a magical spring that turns anything it touches into a male. Because of this spring, no female children are ever born among his people, so the men of Togenkyo, including Toma himself, must kidnap women from neighboring lands to take as brides. His part in the story begins after the main characters are shipwrecked on a remote island during a boating trip. Working with a band of animal-human hybrids, Toma abducts nearly all the young women, including Akane, Nabiki, Kasumi, Ukyo, and Shampoo, along with many others, and carries them back to his island as candidates for his bride.
In personality, Toma is youthful, self-assured, and accustomed to having his way.
