Description
Connor Kluff is a young Letter Bee who makes his first appearance early in the story, serving as an escort for the protagonist, Lag Seeing, on his journey to take the Letter Bee examination. Following this, Connor becomes a familiar presence, making regular deliveries to Lag's home at Cambel Litus as Lag grows up.
Connor has a heavy-set, roundish-plump build with black hair and black eyes that appear to be perpetually closed. He wears the standard uniform of a Letter Bee. His most defining personal trait is his hearty, almost uncontrollable appetite, which leads him to eat anything edible placed in front of him. This love of food is a core part of his personality, though it also leads to a recurring financial quirk where he frequently must borrow money from his fellow Letter Bee, Zazie, much to Zazie's annoyance.
