Description
Nihongou is a yari, or spear, type of touken danshi and is recognized as one of the three great spears of Japan. His historical background begins as an Imperial Treasure originally held by Emperor Oogimachi, who presented it to Ashikaga Yoshiaki. The spear later passed into the possession of Oda Nobunaga and then Toyotomi Hideyoshi, during whose ownership it is said to have received the name Nihongou. There is a theory that he was originally a tachi sword so well suited for thrusting that it was later mounted as a spearhead. In appearance, Nihongou has short blue hair and purple eyes. Within the story of Zoku Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru, he serves as a supporting character residing in the citadel alongside the other sword warriors. As a spear-type, his combat abilities are centered on thrusting attacks, and his status as one of the three great spears marks him as a weapon of considerable historical renown. Information about his personality, personal motivations, key relationships, and character development is not extensively covered in the available material.
