Description
Michiru Amatsuki is the protagonist of the series, a twenty-year-old woman who moves from the smaller city of Okayama to Tokyo for a career change. She takes on a new role as the head of sales at a venture company and begins living in a women-only share house called Stella House Haruno, in room number one hundred and one. She has a naturally cheerful disposition and is eager to learn about both her new job and the Tokyo lifestyle. She is also relatively new to drinking alcohol, but she can handle her drinks surprisingly well because she often had alcoholic beverages with her parents after turning twenty. This background gives her a strong tolerance that stands out among her friends. She is somewhat self-conscious about her small chest and sometimes describes herself as slender. Michiru’s main motivation is to experience the fashionable life of Tokyo and to grow personally and professionally. In the story, she serves as the newcomer whose perspective anchors the daily life and drinking sessions at the share house. Her key relationships are with her housemates, including the motherly Kae Midorikawa, the outgoing older sister Nao Kiriyama, and the younger sister Makoto Kiriyama, all of whom bond over food and alcohol. Through these interactions, Michiru gradually becomes more confident and comfortable in her new environment. Her notable abilities include her surprising capacity for alcohol and her adaptability in a new city and workplace. She also shows a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic in her sales position. Overall, her journey is one of self-discovery through friendship and the simple pleasures of sharing drinks.
