Crusch Lulu is a female Lizardman who serves as the acting chieftain of the Red Eye tribe. Her most distinguishing feature is her albinism, which gives her beautiful, pure white scales that stand in stark contrast to the typical Lizardman appearance. Her eyes are round and a deep, bright red, resembling rubies. She has a slender, slim build and her body is marked with red and black patterns that hold specific meanings, indicating she is an adult, skilled in many types of magic, and unmarried. Because her albinism makes her extremely vulnerable to sunlight, causing her to burn easily, she spends most of her time indoors in rooms without windows. When she must go outside during the day, she wears a strange outfit made of plants or weeds to shield herself from the sun, which has led to her being jokingly called a plant-type monster by others like Zenberu Gugu and Shasuryu Shasha.

Before meeting Zaryusu Shasha, Crusch was quite shy and had low self-esteem due to her unusual appearance. She believed that other Lizardmen would look at her with disgust, and she had quietly accepted that she would never experience love. Despite this, she possesses a strong will and a deep sense of responsibility as the acting leader of her tribe. She acts bravely and tries to appear strong for her people, whom she cares for deeply. Past hardships have forged her resilience; when a food shortage led her tribe to the taboo act of cannibalism, she led a successful rebellion against the previous chieftain who had made that decision, though she was haunted by the former leader's smile as he died.

Her motivations are closely tied to the survival and safety of her tribe. Initially, this drives her to reluctantly consider forming an alliance with other Lizardman tribes when faced with the existential threat of an invasion from the Great Tomb of Nazarick. Her role in the story is central to the Lizardman arc, acting as one of the key leaders who bands the tribes together. She is put in charge of the alliance's druids and plays a vital role in the war effort, using her magic to strengthen their defenses, heal the wounded, and summon powerful creatures to fight alongside the warriors.

Her relationship with Zaryusu Shasha, an envoy from the Green Claw tribe, is the most significant in her life. He falls in love with her at first sight and immediately proposes, leaving her flustered and surprised. Despite her initial disbelief, she grows to reciprocate his feelings, and their bond deepens quickly. She shows a more vulnerable and emotional side with him, becoming jealous and shy. On the eve of the final, desperate battle against the undead, she chooses to spend the night with Zaryusu, hoping to bear his child. After Zaryusu is killed by the Floor Guardian Cocytus, her motivation shifts to securing his resurrection. She makes a deal with the Sorcerer King Ainz Ooal Gown, agreeing to become his informant within the Lizardman community in exchange for Zaryusu being brought back to life. She later gives birth to a son, who, like her, is an albino.

Crusch is the most powerful magic caster among all the Lizardman tribes of the great lake. She is a druid priest, with her magical abilities focusing on healing, support, and summoning spirits of nature. Her known spells include Summon Beast, which she uses to call a giant swamp creature called a Snap Grasp; Middle Cure Wounds, a healing spell; Earth Bind, which creates mud chains to restrain enemies; Protection Energy, which she can use to shield against ice attacks; and Lion s Heart, which grants courage and removes fear.
