TV-Series
Description
Mare Bello Fiora is a male dark elf and one of the twin Floor Guardians of the Sixth Floor, known as the Jungle, within the Great Tomb of Nazarick. He is the younger twin brother of Aura Bella Fiora. Mare was created by one of the former guild members of Ainz Ooal Gown, Bukubuku Chagama, as a high-level magic caster specializing in druidic and earth-based spells. He appears as a child with dark skin, pointed ears, golden hair, and heterochromatic eyes—his right eye is blue and his left eye is green. He wears a blue dragon scale leather outfit covered by a white and gold vest embroidered with the sigil of Ainz Ooal Gown, a forest green leaf cloak, a short white skirt, an acorn necklace that emits a silver light, and white silk gloves. He carries a twisted black wooden staff.

Mare’s personality is shy, timid, and subservient. He often stutters when speaking and tends to defer to his sister Aura, a trait deliberately programmed by his creator who believed the younger brother should obey the elder sister. Despite his outward nervousness, Mare is unfailingly loyal to Ainz Ooal Gown and carries out his duties with cold efficiency when commanded. His timid demeanor is a superficial guise that does not affect his competence or his willingness to use overwhelming force when necessary.

Mare is a powerful druid with a strong affinity for nature and earth magic. He can cast spells that support allies, control the environment, and devastate large areas. His abilities include manipulating weather, summoning earthquakes, creating stone bulwarks, and reshaping terrain. He is also capable of high-tier magic such as Stream of Lava and Nature’s Shelter, a tenth-tier divine spell. Mare’s combat strength is considered second only to Shalltear Bloodfallen among the Floor Guardians, and he possesses balanced physical and magical stats. He is often deployed for tasks requiring large-scale terrain modification or environmental control, such as hiding the entrance of Nazarick by constructing an earthen rampart.

Within Nazarick, Mare works closely with his sister Aura, who acts as his protector and confidant. Their relationship is marked by Aura’s boldness contrasting with Mare’s reserve, but they share an unbreakable bond. Mare shows deep reverence for Ainz and seeks his approval, becoming more confident when praised. He interacts respectfully with the other Floor Guardians and Servants, though he feels most comfortable around patient individuals such as Cocytus and Sebas Tian. Mare’s primary role is to defend the Sixth Floor and support Nazarick’s defenses through his environmental manipulation. He also tends to the floor’s jungle ecosystem, viewing it as a living extension of Nazarick.

Throughout the series, Mare’s development is subtle. He remains shy but demonstrates a growing willingness to take initiative when the situation demands it. His loyalty and obedience never waver, and he becomes more reliable in executing Ainz’s orders. Notable abilities include the use of two high-rank dragons, which are ultra-rare creatures, and his capacity to cast area-devastation spells that can annihilate entire battalions. Mare is a cautious strategist who prefers to reshape the battlefield to trap intruders rather than engage in direct combat. Once given a command, his hesitation disappears, and he becomes a calm, precise force of nature.
