Description
Gagaran is an adamantite-ranked adventurer and a prominent warrior of the Blue Roses, an all-female adventurer team operating in the Re-Estize Kingdom. Her physical appearance is distinctive and often leads to mistaken assumptions, as she is an extremely muscular woman with shoulder-length blonde hair and blue eyes, rarely seen out of her thick, crimson-colored armor. She wields a powerful war hammer as her primary weapon and wears a silver crown that appears to be enchanted. Despite her formidable and intimidating build, she has given herself the nickname "Lovely Warrior Full of Mystery," a stark contrast to how others perceive her, with her teammate Evileye teasingly calling her a "Mass of Muscle".
Personality-wise, Gagaran exudes an air of reliability and trustworthiness that has earned her the deep respect of her comrades in Blue Roses, giving off a protective, almost elder-sibling-like presence. Unlike many humans in her world, she holds no prejudice against demihumans or heteromorphic races and has even expressed disgust at the genocidal actions of fanatical groups like the Slane Theocracy's Sunlight Scripture. Gagaran's background before joining Blue Roses is intentionally shrouded in mystery, a period she refuses to discuss even with her closest friends. Her known history begins when she rescued a young and inexperienced Lakyus Alvein Dale Aindra from trouble, leading the two to become founding members of the Blue Roses. At some point in the past, she competed in the Grand Tournament held to select the King's bodyguard but was defeated by the legendary warrior Gazef Stronoff. She also has a history of clashing with the Sunlight Scripture, intervening in their attempts to burn down entire villages of innocent demihumans, which fueled her deep hatred for their zealous and cold-blooded methods.
In the story, Gagaran plays a significant role as a senior and powerful member of Blue Roses. During the operation to dismantle the criminal organization Eight Fingers, she, along with Evileye and Tia, engaged in a fierce battle against Entoma, a maid of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. The fight was going in their favor until the demon Jaldabaoth, who is in truth the NPC Demiurge, intervened. With a single spell, he instantly killed both Gagaran and Tia, though they were later revived by their leader, Lakyus. Following this traumatic event, a significant portion of her later development involves Lakyus helping her and Tia regain the strength and experience they lost as a result of their temporary death. When the Sorcerer Kingdom later threatens the Re-Estize Kingdom, Gagaran and the rest of Blue Roses ultimately decide to flee the country rather than face certain destruction, using charm magic to forcibly bring their reluctant leader Lakyus with them to safety.
