Description
Aoi Inuyama co-founded the Outdoor Activities Club at Motosu High School with Chiaki Ōgaki. Friendly and approachable, she frequently participates in club camping trips. Her appearance features chest-length greenish-brown hair tied in a left-side ponytail secured by a purple hair bobble, olive-green eyes, and a larger-than-average bust. For outdoor excursions, she wears a grey-and-white scarf, light-blue sweater, dark-blue shirt, multicolored skirt, and brown boots, switching to the standard female school uniform during class.
Aoi possesses a habit of fabricating stories or exaggerating truths, a trait recognized by her friends Nadeshiko Kagamihara and Chiaki through the distinctive visual cue of her irises disappearing. This tendency is noted as common within her family, the Inuyamas. She speaks with a Kansai dialect, linked to her fictional birthplace in Inuyama, Gifu Prefecture (contrasting with its real-world location in Aichi Prefecture). Her family ran "Cafe Inuyama," a dog-themed establishment in Inuyama city, with all immediate family members born in the year of the dog.
Ten years after high school, Aoi works as an elementary school teacher at Fujikawa Elementary in Yamanashi Prefecture. Though the school faced closure at the academic year's end, she had already secured a position elsewhere. During this period, Chiaki Ōgaki's initiative to redevelop an abandoned facility into a campsite reunites the former club members. Inspired by Nadeshiko's enthusiasm, Aoi volunteers to help and is tasked with scheduling duties for the project. She proposes incorporating a dedicated children's area into the campsite design.
When the discovery of archaeological artifacts suspends the project, Aoi remains actively involved, strategizing alternatives with Chiaki. After the group revises their proposal to integrate the archaeological site as an attraction, they gain approval. Aoi then salvages discarded tires from the closing Fujikawa Elementary for reuse in the children's area she originally conceptualized. By this time, she has obtained her driver's license and operates a Honda N-one vehicle.
