Description
Kojō Akatsuki is the male protagonist of the anime Strike the Blood II. He was a normal high school student living on the artificial island of Itogami before a fateful encounter with Avrora Florestina, the original Fourth Primogenitor, resulted in him inheriting her powers and becoming the world's most powerful vampire. The transfer of this immense power also sealed his memories of the event. He attends Saikai Academy alongside his younger sister, Nagisa Akatsuki.
Akatsuki's personality is defined by a kind, empathetic, and generally carefree nature. He prefers to avoid conflict but possesses a quick temper that emerges when he or his loved ones are provoked or insulted. Underneath his relaxed exterior is a strong sense of justice and a deep protective instinct. He initially struggles heavily with his new identity, feeling a strong moral aversion to the vampiric act of drinking blood.
