Description
May-Yen is a supporting character in the anime Zegapain ADP. She is the younger twin sister of May-Yu, and both sisters originally come from Shanghai. May-Yen serves as one of the Wizards for the Garuda, a role that involves supporting mecha pilots in battle by managing data and providing tactical assistance. Following the death of Arque, she occasionally takes on the role of Wizard for the pilot Chris. During the battle of the Shanghai server, May-Yen is salvaged to the Oceanus, where she continues her duties.

In terms of appearance, May-Yen is a teenage girl with very long pink hair that reaches past her hips, red eyes, and she wears glasses. Her hairstyle is often styled with twin-tail buns. She is known for her cute appearance, and the protagonist Kyo refers to her as the cute one, a remark that visibly annoys her sister May-Yu.

Personality-wise, May-Yen is devoted to Lu-Shen, a key figure in the Shanghai server, and she shares a strong sense of loyalty with her sister. She is calm and capable in her role as a Wizard, working diligently to support the pilots in combat. Her motivations are closely tied to protecting the Shanghai server and serving the cause of Cerebrum, the organization fighting against the alien Gards-orm.

Her key relationships include her twin sister May-Yu, with whom she shares a close bond, and Lu-Shen, to whom she is deeply loyal. She also works alongside Kyo and other Cerebrum members, stepping in as a Wizard for Chris when needed.

Throughout the story, May-Yen's role is that of a steadfast support character, contributing to the team's efforts in the battle to preserve reality against the constant threats of the Gards-orm. Her development is seen in her transition from working on the Garuda to being salvaged to the Oceanus, adapting to new circumstances while maintaining her dedication.

As a Wizard, May-Yen's notable abilities include data processing and tactical coordination, allowing her to enhance the performance of the mecha pilots she supports. She is a skilled operator who plays a vital part in the team's operations, even if she is not a frontline combatant herself.
