Description
Lebuty, whose full name is Revchi Salik, is a minor antagonist introduced early in the series Black Clover. He is a former member of the Magic Knights, where he was known as Revchi of the Chain, but eventually left the organization under unclear circumstances and became a thief. Physically, he is an adult male with dark, wavy hair that reaches chest length, gray eyes, and a noticeable burn mark on the left side of his face, which he acquired during his final mission with the Magic Knights.

Personality-wise, Lebuty possesses a nasty and prideful disposition. He is highly money-driven and will do anything for financial gain, often boasting about his past affiliation with the Magic Knights and his epithet. This arrogance is evident when he attempts to steal Yuno's grimoire, dismissing both Yuno and Asta as insignificant. His primary motivation is personal enrichment, and he shows little regard for others.

In the story, Lebuty serves as one of the earliest challenges for the protagonists. He appears in the village of Hage, where he attacks Yuno to steal his four-leaf clover grimoire, believing it to be valuable. When Asta intervenes despite having no magic, Lebuty easily overpowers him with his chain magic. However, during the struggle, Asta awakens his own five-leaf grimoire and uses its anti-magic abilities to defeat Lebuty. After his defeat, he is presumably arrested by the Magic Knights. Lebuty does not reappear in any significant capacity later in the series, making his role as a one-time early obstacle.

Key relationships include his antagonistic interactions with Asta and Yuno. He underestimates both of them, particularly Asta, which leads to his downfall. There is no indication of any meaningful development or redemption for the character; he remains a selfish and opportunistic thief throughout his brief appearance.

Lebuty's notable ability is Chain Magic, which allows him to generate and manipulate chains for both offensive and defensive purposes. He uses this magic to bind opponents, restrain them, and lash out with force. His grimoire is a standard three-leaf clover grimoire that contains chain-based spells. While his magic is competent for a common thief, it is not especially powerful compared to the later threats faced by the main characters, and his defeat by Asta highlights the limitations of his abilities against anti-magic.
