Description
Last Trinity, also known as the White Demon Lord, is an artificial lifeform created through alchemy and sealed within the forbidden Eternal Library. He is the ultimate product of the alchemical research of Hohenheim, the founder of Outer Alchemic, and was designed as a Demon Lord candidate despite lacking a natural Demon Lord Factor. His existence is tied to the Eternal Library, and his awakening is triggered when Arata Kasuga inadvertently activates Lilith’s grimoire, the Hermes Apocrypha, causing the emergence of the mysterious girl Lilim.

In terms of personality, Last Trinity is cold, calculating, and driven by a ruthless desire for power. He possesses no human empathy or warmth, representing the destructive and soulless potential of a Demon Lord without the moral restraints that characters like Arata Kasuga exhibit. He is arrogant and confident in his abilities, often taunting his opponents and belittling their efforts. His primary motivation is to eliminate Arata Kasuga, whom he views as his rival, and to usurp the position of the true Demon Lord. He seeks to use Lilim’s connection to the grimoires to further his own ascension and reclaim lost power and status by destroying the current era’s magical foundations.

Within the story, Last Trinity serves as the main antagonist of Trinity Seven: Eternal Library & Alchemic Girl. He emerges from the Eternal Library after its seal is broken and immediately launches an attack on Arata and the Trinity Seven. His role is to challenge the protagonists on both a physical and ideological level, contrasting Arata’s protective nature with his own cold ambition. He constructs a barrier around the Royal Biblia Academy to trap his enemies and unleashes alchemic constructs and demons to overwhelm them. He engages directly with the group during the final confrontation, demonstrating immense regenerative capabilities that allow him to recover from powerful spells and physical attacks.

Key relationships include his rivalry with Arata Kasuga, whom he taunts and attempts to destroy in order to prove his own superiority as the true Demon Lord. He also interacts with Lilith Asami, mocking her maternal bond with Lilim and taking advantage of her emotional vulnerability. Although Last Trinity is referred to as the father of Lilith Asami in broader series lore, within this film his role is primarily as a resurrected threat, and the familial connection is not a focus of the plot. He is also connected to Master Liber and the world of the Divine Comedy Gate, where he serves under Master Liber’s creator aspect.

Development is minimal, as Last Trinity remains a static antagonist throughout the film. He does not undergo a change in perspective or motivations, but his defeat at the hands of Arata and the combined efforts of the Trinity Seven highlights the strength of bonds and empathy that he lacks. His arc is one of attempted conquest that ends in failure, reinforcing the theme that true power comes from connection rather than cold ambition.

Notable abilities include his mastery of Outer Alchemic magic, which he uses for offense, defense, and regeneration. He can absorb the magic of his opponents, reflected in his ability to nullify attacks from Hijiri, Arin, and Yui. He heals rapidly from severe injuries, making him difficult to defeat through conventional means. He can create barriers to seal off areas, summon demonic creatures, and generate powerful destructive spells. His physical appearance includes white hair, demonic arms, and a white mask covering the right side of his face, reflecting his artificial origin. Unlike Arata, who channels his Demon Lord power for protection, Last Trinity wields his abilities with pure destructive intent.
