Description
Machi, nicknamed Pony, holds the student council presidency after a covert alliance with Hoshi rigged her initial electoral defeat. Her "Switch" ability enables teleportation between two contacted objects—a tool she wields strategically. When displaced into an alternate dimension, she partners with Hoshi to impose structure among stranded peers, leveraging authority forged through calculated maneuvers like falsified votes.

Suspicion drives her to blame Mizuho for unexplained blue-flame eruptions, leading Machi to exploit her power by trapping Mizuho’s cat as coercive leverage. This tactic unravels when evidence reveals the flames stem from improperly acquired items, not Mizuho’s actions—exposing Machi’s habit of acting on partial data.

Her leadership prioritizes systemic control through pragmatic, often ruthless methods: election manipulation, hierarchical enforcement, and transactional interactions devoid of personal bonds. This contrasts Mizuho’s reclusive nature, framing Machi as an authoritarian counterbalance. While her decisions maintain order, they underscore a worldview where trust is secondary to efficiency, and empathy yields to calculated command.
