Description
Muteki, a teenage boy dispatched by his mother to reside with his grandmother Sarah in futuristic Neo San Francisco, carries the heroic lineage of his great-grandfather Rin Yuki—the original Muteking.

Upon arrival, a self-proclaimed DJ gifts him an alien boombox and Octian Cells, enabling his transformation into the dancing hero "Muteking." This power defends the city from monsters through song and dance. His abilities include saturating the atmosphere with joy, triggering spontaneous musical combat sequences, and securing near-guaranteed victories when his theme song "Roller Hero Muteking" resonates.

Muteki’s personality blends a natural rhythmic intuition, unwavering determination—especially in courting retro diner waitress Aida—and a tendency toward obliviousness, necessitating DJ’s frequent guidance to preserve his secret identity.

His appearance evolves: initially featuring short blue hair, a black fur-trimmed jacket over a light blue hoodie, dark jeans, unique sneakers, and a neon Data Watch. After an episode-4 makeover, he dons a headband, a red jacket with a yellow "M" and lightning motifs, black shorts, blue leggings, light blue leg warmers, red sneakers, and retains the Data Watch.

Key relationships anchor him: DJ mentors him and enables transformations; grandmother Sarah offers familial support; and he frequents a retro game center run by drag queen Vivi, interacting with her and four sibling regulars.

Later, Muteki unlocks "Mirror Muteking," a fusion-powered form achieved with DJ using an Octian Disco ball. This state unleashes their "Super Hyper Dance" technique, purifying the corrupted Muteking Black entity.

His journey balances ordinary life with heroism, weaving social connections, city defense, and revelations about his family’s legacy as guardians against darkness.
