Description
Hitsuchi-kun, also written as Hitsuuchi, is a supporting character in Sagrada Reset. His name is a nickname that refers to the message received when a phone call fails to connect, such as "destination number not found," and it carries the meaning of "non-notification" or "unannounced". He is an adolescent male with a slim build, pale skin, grey hair cut to ear length, and brown eyes. Hitsuchi-kun is physically weak and sickly, suffering from severe mysophobia, or a pathological fear of germs, which prevents him from being able to eat normal food.

To compensate for his inability to eat, his unique ability allows him to survive by converting information from other people into nutrients, a process that has led to him being described as an "information vampire". This ability is dangerous, as extracting too much information from a single target can be fatal, a tragic outcome that has occurred in his past. To control this risk and manage his condition, the local Administration Bureau arranged a special setup for him to work as an informant, allowing him to collect information in a safer and more regulated manner.

His personality is generally pleasant and calm. He harbors a strong aversion to meeting people directly, and as such, the only way to establish contact with him is by telephone. He is consistently cautious about his security and anonymity, using a voice-changing device during his phone calls to ensure his true identity is not exposed. When someone calls him, he typically responds by playing a fake automated message announcing that the number cannot be reached, requiring the caller to stay on the line and call repeatedly before he will finally answer.

Hitsuchi-kun's primary role in the story is as a source of information for other characters, most notably Kei Asai. He is a key figure in a tragic past event that drives part of the narrative, as he was responsible for the death of a girl named Mirai Minami. He regrettably extracted too much information from her, which caused her death and led her to become a ghostly presence that haunts him. While he expressed regret over this incident, he did not demonstrate a great deal of visible emotional remorse. This event was later altered using other characters' abilities, which led to a different outcome where she survived, but Hitsuchi-kun still helped her due to guilt from the memory of the original timeline in which she died.

He is also connected to the past actions of the character Sumire Souma, who visited him before her own death. She used his abilities to help create a series of voice messages from the past without the person whose ability she borrowed remembering the act. His role in the plot largely involves providing Kei Asai with crucial information about past incidents, other ability users involved in key events, and the lingering mysteries surrounding Souma Sumire and the founding of the Administration Bureau.
