César Montalbán is a character from the anime Inazuma Eleven: Ares no Tenbin. He is originally from Ile de Lointe, where he was a member of the local football club before it was dissolved by their coach, Frank Wintersea. Following this event, César and his teammates decided to travel to Inazuma to continue playing football. Once there, they took up residence at the Windsor Residence and became members of the Raimon team.

In terms of appearance, César has dark blue hair with a fringe parted in the middle. He has violet eyes and is frequently seen wearing round glasses, which complement his role as the team's analyst. Indeed, his official Inazuma ID card identifies him as the team analyst, and he is noted for naming many of the special techniques used by Raimon's players, a role that draws comparisons to a previous character from the series.

César's personality is defined by his analytical mind and his dedication to the team. During their early matches, such as the first game against Polaris Academy, he and his teammates were easily overwhelmed and suffered a heavy loss. Despite this setback, César and the rest of the team found hope when a sponsor stepped forward to support them. His strategic abilities come to the forefront in later crucial matches. During the second half of the match against Royal Academy, César, alongside teammates Nino and Kiko, successfully used their new special technique, Gravitational Cage, to block a powerful shot from the opposing team. In the final match of the Football Frontier tournament against Sélène College, César further demonstrated his skills by using another special technique, Short Circuit, to dribble past a formidable opponent.
