Description
Akio Fudō is a midfielder known for his cynical and sarcastic demeanor, often making rude remarks and acting indifferent toward his teammates. Despite this abrasive exterior, his actions reveal that he genuinely cares about his team, and his strategic mind is said to be on par with that of Kidou Yuuto. His background is marked by family hardship: during his early childhood, his father was forced to quit his job after taking the blame for his boss’s mistakes and later abandoned the family. His mother told him to become strong and rise to the top, which Fudō misinterpreted as a drive to acquire power by any means necessary. This ambition led him to join Kageyama Reiji in forming Shin Teikoku Gakuen, where he served as captain. After being abandoned by Kageyama, he was recruited to try out for the national team, Inazuma Japan. Initially distrusted by his teammates due to his past, he struggled to coordinate with others. His first major breakthrough came during the match against Fire Dragon, where he began linking up with the team and created his first combination hissatsu, Killer Fields, with Kidou. A pivotal moment occurred before the match against Team K, when he sought out Kageyama to prove he was no longer under his influence, leading to his reconciliation with Kidou and Sakuma Jirou. Together they developed the powerful combination shot Koutei Penguin 3gou. Fudō’s notable abilities are primarily tactical and collaborative; he excels at analyzing and breaking down opposing formations. His techniques include Killer Slide, Killer Fields, Koutei Penguin 3gou, and Maximum Circus. In the Inazuma Eleven GO era, an older Fudō appears as the coach of Resistance Japan, showcasing his growth into a tactical leader.
