TV-Series
Description
Hiro Oozora is the main protagonist of the Danbōru Senki W series. He is a thirteen-year-old boy with an outgoing, cheerful, and sociable personality, consistently displaying politeness through his habit of addressing everyone with the suffix "san". He is depicted as a fast learner and a big fan of the in-universe anime hero Senshiman, a show he watched since childhood.

In his debut, Hiro is introduced as a skilled arcade player who wins twenty consecutive matches at a local game center, earning a prize that is swapped with the LBX Perseus. His initial appearance includes a disguise featuring glasses, a turquoise shirt, and blue pants. He soon after encounters Ban Yamano, who teaches him how to control an LBX. Hiro lives with his mother, Haruka Oozora, a scientist who is often deeply absorbed in her research, sometimes leaving Hiro alone.

Hiro's primary motivation in the story is to improve his skills as an LBX player and to confront the terrorist organization known as the Detector. He is identified as one of three chosen individuals selected to fight against this threat, alongside Ban and Ran Hanasaki, and becomes a new member of the Seeker organization. His role in the story is central to the battle to save the LBX world, participating in international missions, tournaments like the Artemis and BC Extras, and protecting key figures such as the president of A-Nation.

Key relationships include his partnership and friendship with Ban Yamano, who acts as a mentor figure and partner, and Ran Hanasaki, another of the chosen fighters. He also forms a team with other characters like Jessica Kaios and Yūya Haibara during various arcs. Hiro is deeply respectful of others, which is reflected in his formal manner of speech.

Throughout the series, Hiro shows significant development from a novice LBX player to a highly capable fighter. He learns quickly, often mastering new techniques like the Hissatsu Function almost immediately after seeing them. His growth is also tied to learning to control and trust his own unique abilities.

Hiro possesses several notable abilities. Most distinct is his precognitive power, which allows him to see visions of the future, such as foreseeing an explosion in a hotel or at the National Defense Base. When he focuses his mind completely on his CCM controller, his eyes change from dark brown to a lighter shade, and his controlling speed can surpass even that of Ban Yamano. This state is also associated with a distinct glow in his eyes. The meanings behind his name, Hiro and Oozora, which relate to concepts of breadth and the wide sky, connect to the celestial and natural disaster motifs that appear in many of his special functions.
