TV-Series
Description
Gouda Hanzou is a supporting character in Danbōru Senki W. He is a third-year student at Misora Middle School, the same school attended by the protagonist Ban Yamano. Before the events of the series, he is established as the leader of a gang from the school's slums, supported by his so-called Elite Four. He is known by the fearsome nickname The Destroyer of Hell, a title earned from his habit of completely destroying opponents' LBX machines in battle.

In terms of personality, Gouda is initially presented as temperamental and hot-headed, with a tendency to solve problems with his fists rather than words. This straightforward and aggressive nature directly influences his combat style, which favors direct, powerful strikes over evasive maneuvers or hiding. Despite his rough exterior and reputation as a delinquent, he is deeply loyal and supportive of his friends and crew members, who address him as their leader. Beneath his proud and cunning facade, he possesses a kind and sympathetic side, always willing to help his comrades.

Gouda's primary motivation is tied to his respect for strength and skill in LBX battling. He holds a deep admiration for the legendary player Lex, whose superior abilities he respects from the bottom of his heart. This loyalty is so strong that he becomes furious when anyone, such as the character Jin, accuses Lex of intentionally losing a match, as he knows Lex would never do such a thing. His role in the story evolves from a rival gang leader to a valuable ally. He eventually joins forces with Ban and others as a member of the anti-terrorist organization known as the Seekers, where he fights against the Innovators.

Throughout Danbōru Senki W, Gouda continues to develop as a reliable fighter and friend. He competes in the Artemis Tournament, securing fourth place in the year 2051. At one point in the narrative, he is captured and forced to become a Slave Player under the control of the Detector organization, piloting the Hakai-O Dogma. This event tests his resilience and further integrates him into the main conflict.

Gouda's key relationships include his bond with his own gang members, who look up to him. He also forms a significant connection with Lex, whom he admires and serves as a subordinate. As a member of the Seekers, he works alongside Ban Yamano, Ami Kawamura, and other main characters, solidifying his status as a trusted comrade rather than just a former adversary.

His notable abilities are centered on his power-based fighting style. His preferred LBX is the Hakai-O series, beginning with the commercial Hakai-O model and later upgrading to the Hakai-O Z. These machines are designed for raw power, and his aptitude is best suited for Brawler frames, which boost his attack functions in battle. His straightforward, no-nonsense approach to combat makes him a formidable opponent who overwhelms his enemies with sheer force. He is also sometimes described as a ninja-inspired LBX player, adding a subtle layer to his fighting identity.
