Poi-Poi, also rendered as Poy-Poy or Poipoi, is a supporting character in the anime Ragnarok The Animation. It is a small, pink, blob-like monster known as a Poring, appearing as a non-human creature with black eyes and no distinct gender. Poi-Poi is the pet and constant companion of Maya, the merchant in the main party, and it follows her throughout the series. Maya is rarely seen without her Poring, and the creature reflects her known affinity for monsters and animals. Poi-Poi does not speak and has no dialogue, so it does not have a developed personality, internal motivations, or an independent character arc. Its role in the story is largely passive and supportive: it stays at Maya's side during the group's travels and serves as a recurring visual presence rather than an active participant in events. The creature is not shown using notable abilities or engaging in combat, and its development is limited to its consistent companionship with Maya. Beyond the television series, Poi-Poi also appears in the manga adaptation Ragnarok the Animation: Graffiti.
