Shun Shin Kun served as Chu's previous Prime Minister and Head of Military Affairs, wielding immense political and military power. Recognized as one of the Four Lords of the Warring States, his influence placed him at the absolute peak among officials and officers across all states. He possessed long, straight dark reddish-brown hair, thick eyebrows, a solid, somewhat muscled build, and pale white skin. His attire reflected his status: decorated silk robes, complemented by military boots. His personality was caustic, irritable, and scathing, marked by a readiness to insult others abruptly. This temperament fueled tensions within Chu's political circles and among allies. For roughly two decades, Shun Shin Kun was pivotal in transforming Chu into a superstate through his political strategies and military oversight. His influence extended beyond Chu, evidenced by his attendance at Qin's King Sho's funeral. Strategically astute, he possessed keen foresight. Alongside Zhao's Ri Boku, he recognized Qin's long-term threat after their conquest of Sanyou. This insight drove him to initiate discussions with Ri Boku at the Zhao-Chu border, culminating in the Coalition Army against Qin. During the Coalition Invasion Arc, his overwhelming influence and reputation secured his appointment as supreme commander, despite skepticism from other state leaders. At the Battle of Kankoku Pass, he observed alongside Ri Boku. The death of Chu's great general Kan Mei provoked intense anger in him. Following the coalition's failure, he rejected Ri Boku's proposal to reclaim Sanyou, instead directing Chu's forces to attack Qi. This decision proved ineffective as Mou Bu's Qin forces counterattacked the coalition's rear. Held responsible for the military failure by the King of Chu, Shun Shin Kun was removed from his positions as Prime Minister and Head of Military Affairs. He was subsequently banished to Raiko City. His death occurred during the Koku You Campaign Arc. While walking to his carriage in the rain, he was assassinated by multiple assailants affiliated with Ri En, stemming from political conflicts related to Chu's succession crisis. In capabilities, he demonstrated exceptional leadership (90) and intelligence (98), though his physical strength was comparatively modest (70). His strategic acumen allowed him to perceive geopolitical threats and orchestrate large-scale military coalitions. His political influence rivaled monarchs, having shaped Chu's rise as a superpower for two decades. However, he demonstrated no notable martial prowess, leaving him vulnerable to assassination.
