Description
Luóláng is a blonde-haired, blue-eyed Western man who serves as the second-in-command of a Ming Chinese armed group led by the elderly master Bai-Luan. He is the strongest swordsman in the group, distinguished not only by his European appearance but by his complete indifference to the group's mission—the capture of a young boy named Kotaro for use in an immortality elixir. Instead, Luóláng lives solely for the thrill of battle and the pursuit of a worthy opponent. His driving motivation is the desire to test and improve his own skills against ever-stronger adversaries, and he feels an immediate, intense fascination with the rōnin Nanashi when he first witnesses his fighting ability. To Luóláng, meeting Nanashi is a dream come true.
