Description
Croket is the young protagonist of the adventure series Croquette!, a determined fighter who travels the world as a Banker in pursuit of magical coins known as Kinkas. He is the son of a legendary Banker named Burger, and his most profound motivation is to gather enough Kinkas to summon the Bank Wizard, who can grant his wish to revive his deceased father. The villain known as the Black Gown Man is said to be responsible for his father's death, a fact that fuels Croket’s resolve.

In terms of background, Croket inherits his father’s legacy and his unique Kinka safe, a living, pig-shaped creature named Menchi, which Croket often carries on top of his helmet. His journey leads him to participate in the Banker Survival Quest, a dangerous tournament held on Macadamia Island where the winner receives enough Kinkas to fill the largest Kinka Bank. This event serves as a major part of the story, where he confronts a variety of rivals and the looming threat connected to his past.

Personality-wise, Croket is depicted as full of energy and incredibly strong, with a scrappy and headstrong nature that is typical of a young hero on a quest. Despite his youth, he shows great courage in the face of danger and is fiercely loyal to his friends. While his primary wish is to bring back his father, he is not solely driven by revenge; he also develops bonds of friendship with many of his competitors, turning potential enemies into trusted allies. He battles rivals both friendly and malevolent, demonstrating a sense of justice and a willingness to help others during his travels.

Croket’s key relationships include his close friend Worcester, an anthropomorphic cat Banker, and his rival Risotto, the prince of the Grand Chef Kingdom. He also forms significant bonds with other Bankers such as Pudding Pudding and Cream Croquette Risotto, who become his steadfast companions. His connection to his father, Burger, is the emotional core of the story, and he also looks up to his father’s disciple, Cheese Fondue, as an older brother figure. Throughout his development, Croket learns to master his fighting abilities. Initially, he is known for using a heavy hammer as his primary weapon and a technique called the Hamburger Punch, which he learned from his father. He later struggles with and eventually learns to control the powerful Random Fist under the guidance of the master Kappa Croquette. These notable abilities allow him to hold his own against the various powerful foes in the tournament, including the members of the Vichyssoise Family.
