Description
Emeraldas, also known as the Pirate Queen Emeraldas, is a mysterious and beautiful space privateer who commands the powerful pirate starship also named Queen Emeraldas. She is one of the recurring central figures of the shared universe of stories known as the Leijiverse, appearing across many of its productions, and in the anime Harlock Saga she fills a supporting role. She carries a scar on her face, a mark she keeps deliberately as a reminder of her own vulnerabilities and past wounds. As a La Metalian, she is assumed to have a lifespan that can extend to at least a thousand years, which sets her apart from ordinary humans even among the long-lived peoples of her universe.
Her defining traits are independence and self-reliance. She is determined to remain in charge of her own life and refuses to be tied down to anyone or anything.
