Description
Ottotto is a supporting cat character in the anime Anmitsu Hime. The cat has a distinctive physical trait: only its right ear is long and folded over, which makes it stand out visually among the animal characters in the series.
The cat's backstory begins away from the castle. Ottotto was originally the pet of a shrine priest who used up the shrine's money on gambling and then fled during the night, leaving the cat behind. The animal's circumstances changed when Princess Anmitsu became involved. At the princess's request, the inventor Gennai built an automated karakuri-style shrine, and the income from that invention was used to repay the shrine's debts.
