TV-Series
Description
Moe-chan is the virtual avatar of the real-world television warrior Misa Yamaguchi, who enters a computer-generated space called the Virtual Continent to experience the age of dinosaurs. Within this digital realm, she adopts the name and appearance of a young, energetic girl. Her background is that of an ordinary human girl from the media station, curious about the virtual world and eager to explore. She is kind-hearted, courageous, and determined, often showing a strong sense of responsibility toward those she encounters.
Her primary motivation begins as a desire to help a lost baby dinosaur named Rei, whom she meets after a mysterious time hole opens in the Virtual Continent. Rei is searching for his mother, and Moe-chan decides to accompany him. As the story progresses, she becomes entangled in a conflict between two groups of dinosaur‑humanoid beings: the peaceful Follor and the aggressive Gilagul. Her motivation expands to protecting Rei and the Follor from historical manipulation and to stopping the Gilagul’s “Eye of the Universe” plan, which would allow them to alter the past. She also works to find a way back to her own reality when the virtual world goes out of control.
Moe-chan’s role in the story is that of the central protagonist. She serves as the emotional anchor and bridge between the human world and the virtual dinosaur world. She is guided by the eccentric virtual assistant Akkera‑kan and occasionally interacts with the live‑action television warrior Kiyono, who helps from the real world. Her key relationships include a close, protective bond with Rei, whom she treats almost like a younger sibling; a cooperative friendship with the Follor, especially a member named Fira; and an adversarial relationship with the Gilagul, who view her as an obstacle. Throughout the series, she develops from a naive explorer into a determined heroine willing to risk her safety to preserve the integrity of the virtual world and the lives of its inhabitants.
Moe-chan possesses no supernatural abilities; her strengths lie in her bravery, quick thinking, and compassion. She relies on her own resourcefulness and the assistance of her allies to navigate dangers, solve puzzles, and confront threats. Her notable trait is her unwavering empathy, which allows her to earn the trust of both humans and dinosaur‑humanoids alike.
