Migiwa Hase is a supporting character in Elegant Yokai Apartment Life. She is the daughter of Keiji Hase and Mizuha Hase and the younger sister of Mizuki Hase. Her given name contains the kanji for shore or water's edge, while her surname includes characters meaning long, chief, or boss and valley. Migiwa is a high school student who moves from a small town to Tokyo to attend school. Having grown up in a sheltered environment, she is somewhat naive about the wider world but possesses a kind and earnest personality. She is always willing to help others and is described as an athletic girl full of energy, though she later develops a serious stomach ailment that requires hospitalization.

Her motivation centers on adapting to her new life and forming connections with those around her.
