Metan Shikoku is a supporting character in the anime Zunda Horizon. She is a second-year high school student at Furusato Girls Academy and a classmate of the main protagonist, Tohoku Zunko. Her name derives from methane hydrate, a combustible resource found in the seafloor, and Shikoku, the smallest of Japan's four main islands.
