ONA
Description
Bosha is a minor character who appears early in the story of the animated series. He is a farmer living in the town of Murdenu, which is located on the outskirts of the larger city of Gresit. Physically, he is described as an obese and rough individual, and his demeanor matches his coarse appearance.

Bosha is first encountered drinking at a local tavern, where he is in the middle of telling a story to his half-brother, Kob, and the bartender. The tale involves a man who took a strong liking to one of his goats, an incident Bosha resolved by striking the man across the eyes with the blade of a shovel. He is not proud of this act, but rather complains that the local magistrate is fining him because the encounter left the man blind. Bosha views this penalty as a deep injustice and a prime example of how the working class is mistreated by the "great and good" of society.

His personality is defined by a deep-seated resentment towards authority and the nobility. When news arrives that Dracula's army of monsters is approaching Gresit, Bosha is not surprised. He lays the blame for all of Wallachia's problems, from everyday grievances to supernatural invasions, squarely on the shoulders of the old families and the so-called "great houses". In his view, the worst of these families is the Belmonts, whom he and others believe dealt in black magic and brought evil into the world. He claims the Belmonts were rightfully excommunicated by the Church and had their lands confiscated.

Bosha's primary role in the story is as a catalyst for the introduction of the protagonist. Unaware of the stranger's identity, Bosha notices a family crest on his tunic and recognizes it as the Belmont coat of arms. When the man tries to downplay the discovery and leave peacefully, Bosha refuses to let him go. He sees the confrontation as a perfect opportunity to rid the world of one of the Belmonts, whom he holds personally responsible for the rise of Dracula. He demands a confession from the stranger, but his aggression ultimately leads to a brawl. During the fight, the stranger reveals himself to be Trevor Belmont, the last surviving member of the disgraced clan. In this way, Bosha serves as a narrative device to force Trevor out of hiding and into the open, while also providing crucial exposition about how the Belmont family is perceived by the common people.

Key relationships for Bosha are limited due to his minor role. He is shown drinking and socializing with his half-brother, Kob, and the two of them, along with other patrons, attack Trevor Belmont in the tavern. His interaction with Trevor is antagonistic and brief, ending with Bosha and his companions being beaten in the ensuing fight.

Bosha shows no significant development or change throughout his appearance. He remains a static character, representing the ignorant and prejudiced mob mentality that has turned against the Belmont family. His function is not to grow but to establish the hostile world Trevor Belmont inhabits upon his return.

Regarding notable abilities, Bosha has no special powers or combat training. He is an ordinary, though belligerent, farmer. His primary weapon is a shovel, which he mentions using in his story, but his physical aggression in the tavern is ultimately ineffective against the skilled but inebriated Trevor Belmont.
