Description
Tomoe Inui, a mystic wolf girl distinguished by lilac hair, red eyes, suntanned skin, wolf ears, and a fluffy tail, stands petite in stature. She fled her demon-ravaged northern homeland as a refugee alongside her mother Tomoko and younger brother Rou after her father succumbed to illness. Her destiny shifted at a royal gathering for the gifted, convened by Kazuya Souma. Demonstrating unique dark magic to communicate with animals secured her special recognition. Privately revealing her additional ability to understand demons during the award ceremony triggered protective measures by the royal family due to the skill's political volatility. To shield her discreetly, former monarchs Albert Elfrieden and Elisha adopted her, making her Princess Liscia's sister and Kazuya's sister-in-law.

Initially paralyzed by timidity and social anxiety, Tomoe stumbled over words when nervous, notably during her first meeting with Kazuya. Residing in the palace under mentorship fueled profound growth: she cultivated courage, initiative, and a fierce sense of responsibility to honor the trust invested in her. While discomfort with attention persists, she actively confronts this fear.

Her communication powers hold strategic weight, bridging understanding between humans and non-humans. This proved critical during Lastania’s demon wave crisis, where interpreting lizardman motives enabled effective countermeasures. In the Duchy of Chima, her discovery of Ichiha Chima and recognition of his hidden talents led to his recruitment by Kazuya. She undertakes key diplomatic missions to the Republic of Turgis and Nine Headed Dragon Archipelago, guarded by Beowulf, whom she regards as a father figure. Academically, she became Prime Minister Hakuya Kwonmin’s first pupil before enrolling in the Royal Academy alongside Ichiha and Yuriga Haan. Though Hakuya observed she might lack his intellectual succession potential, her entrance exam performance placed her in the top class. She maintains friendships with Ichiha, Yuriga, Lucy Evans, and Velza.
